Hallowe'en Part One

Thanks to my fussy computer I couldn't download the pictures from Saoirse's class party, and my treat bags that I slaved over at work. It's nice to get paid to craft I think. Here's a few from the actual night. It was the warmest Hallowe'en in Edmonton in 7 years. +11 (42 for you folks down below), so quite nice. Saoirse started out with out a coat, but ended up with a coat on by the end of the night. When I finally brought her in, after our third time out, she said "But I'm not freezing yet!"

Tigger (aka Sophie) from behind.

Keeping the hood on? Not so easy.

Saoirse as the Little Mermaid. Yes, I said she was going to be the already purchased elephant and bloody well like it. But her dad took her to the Disney Store and this is what they came out with. The elephant stayed in the closet. Really, William pretends to be all hard but he is just a big softie. Remind me to tell you about the Wii.

Why go out when there is all this candy sitting here?

A group shot. Taylor went out with a group of friends (she's the jogger...talk about a cheap Hallowe'en costume!) and after we did our neighbourhood I took Sophie in and went out with Saoirse and Lachlan, our neighbour (the cutie on the left...Saoirse loves him!) Taylor met up with another 4 friends and they went off for a few hours. I don't have a single picture of Liam, who was the Texas Chainsaw Massacre guy, as he took off to quickly.

First of all, the kids are gorgeous as always!

Secondly...it was 42 and you actually went outside!?! That's super cold in my book. I don't go outdoors unless completely necessary if it's below about 55.

Tigger is a real cutie and what a gorgeous princess!

It was warm this year as well about 14oC which was bliss for us adults going around with the children.

Tigger and the elephant would have been so cute!!! I'm sorry the Disney princesses have taken your home hostage. But as far as princesses go? Saoirse is a mighty cute one!

And Taylor's costume cracks me up!!!

We had 50F, so we were very happy, and had a cute little Tigger in our group as well.

Ahh, we have a Tigger costume just like that one! I ran across it the other day and thought...why am I keeping this when I have no one to wear it?

I kept coming by & was worried you didn't make it for Day # 1! Yay Emma! You did it. The kids? TOO cute. And, Ariel is so much cooler than an elephant anyway!!

All the kids look great! It 'was' warm out wasn't it?? Seems so weird for here. And I'm laughing at the commenters who think that temp is still cold. They have to come visit in one of our winters LOL

Looks like they had fun and going out 3 times, would net a lot of candy.

I had to laugh at the comments about the temperature in your comments also. It was hovering around 40 degrees here and for the most part we were pretty comfortable. Today its 30 it would have been a little cold for our 2 hours outside on halloween. The kids look adorable and I love tiger!
