Today, for the last day of Spring Break, we went to the waterpark. I took a lot of pictures of Saoirse and Sophie in the Little Dolphin pool. Saoirse on the slide, Sophie sitting in the water, Saoirse and Sophie together in their matching tankinis.
And then, and then...sob... my camera bag was flung into the water. WITH MY CAMERA IN IT.
Immediately I took the camera out of the bag. Drip, drip, drip. Took out the battery and the memory card, my friend wrapped them in her towel to dry them off. There was water in the viewfinder. Put battery back in, turn camera on, nothing but a blank screen. Bugger.
Try again and again. Blank screen. Blank screen. Blank screen. Try again. Wait a second...is that a little flicker of orange light? Twas but it is gone. Nothing.
Get home, try again. Little flicker and then nothing. Put memory card into portable printer. 156 pictures and 5 videos are downloading. Yay! I'm safe. I could care less about the camera but 156 pictures of my kids? Sophie's bottom teeth, Saoirse cuddling with her dad, Sophie walking holding William's hands, Taylor's birthday, Liam's birthday...I could die. 10 minutes later the screen says to remove the device. Nothing saved.
Try again. It reads forever, but nothing is saved.
Cry, cry, cry.

I just don't understand the way the world works
Last May, I wrote about my friend Janine's mother being diagnosed with stomach cancer and how she was given 3 to 6 months. Janine and I were talking one day soon after and she said how badly she wished she had a child so her mum would have a grandchild. She didn't want to get pregnant solely for that reason, of course, she was finally in a successful relationship and was ready to start a family.
The family started planning a vacation to Nova Scotia, a province her mother wanted to visit. They went in August and on that holiday Janine discovered she was pregnant. In November, Janine and Tom were married.
We spent Christmas Day, as we do every year, at my mum's house with Janine's parents. Janine's family celebrates on Christmas Eve so this year she spent the actual day with her new husband's family. Her mum looked fantastic, a bit thinner than she has been in the past and ahe was feeling well. She was by this point into Month 7.
In early January, Janine had an ultrasound in which they discovered she was carrying twins. Her mum was at the scan and was, of course, beyond thrilled. They had decided before hand not to find out the sex, but with twins they figured they should. Janine phone the clinic and found out she was carrying girls.
Today, Janine stopped by for a visit (and to give me a thank you gift card from Old Navy for $100- I love good friends) and I asked how her mum was. Not very good it turns out, she has no appetite at all, is constantly nauseus and has lost twelve pounds in one week. Janine suggested to her that she get a prescription for marijuana and it is something she is considering.
Janine is 31 weeks pregnant and the babies will be delivered at 38 weeks. Will her mum still be here to see those girls? I just don't know and I can't even begin to imagine what that family must be going through. A month ago, she was so healthy that the plan was she would come and help Janine out and now what? What happens if she dies right before the girls are born? The thought is heartbreaking. How difficult would it be to know your mother just missed seeing them? My mother and I discussed some time ago that we thought she was waiting to see the girls, but for some reason I thought that it would be a turn around and I never pictured her not being there to see them learn to crawl, to walk, to go off to kindergarten.
It's the saddest thing, really.
Tomorrow I am going to be back to being bitchy rather than depressing and tell you all about my crazy neighbour. Crazy I tell you.

Things that piss me off and other stuff
I have misplaced the ever growing list of blogs I must add to my blogroll. It will take me forever to figure them all out again. So if I read you and you aren't listed there yet, you will be soon. By the time my birthday rolls around, for sure.
I can't figure out how to get my email into my profile or my sidebar. The sidebar would be even better. If you're one of those computer smarties lend a dolt a hand wouldntcha? Because I know you want to email me. Or I want you to email me. Or something. Frankly, the comments just aren't enough. Yeah, I'm sad like that. I'm totally willing to admit how pathetic I am.
My work has started asking my mother when I am coming back. I don't think they have my new phone number. God, I don't want to go back. I don't even know when I'm due to start again. Late May/ early June maybe? I guess they want to do the summer schedule. I don't want to be on it. I want to stay home with my babies. Oh God. It makes me so sad.
Immigration Canada you are my pet peeve of the week. 6 months ago we sent William's papers in. SIX!! Where is your answer? Say no, say yes, just say something. Well, don't say no. That would really piss me off. That might send me over the edge actually. If you do it before May I might not have to go to work. So get a move on already.
I'd have to go to work of course. Braces, ya know. A shift a month would pay for each monthly installment. A couple of shifts a month would be a new minivan payment. Another shift a month for my scrapbooking obsession (make that 3 shifts. I really like my scrapbooking stuff.) A couple of shifts a month to keep the kids in decent clothing. How many shifts is that? 8 or so. 2 a week on average. Blah. It's a shame motherhood doesn't pay the big bucks.
I can not even say what is pissing me off the most right now. That's why I like email.
In not pissing me off news, I've been tagged! Three times! I will be doing those memes shortly. Oh shutup. Allow a girl her small pleasures.
In reference to the comments left about the book Nineteen Minutes I have to say I absolutely loved the book. It was the first of hers I had ever read, I saw it at Costco (only $18, how can you go wrong? How does Chapters stay in business?) and I decided to give it a go. The first time I had ever heard of Jodi Picoult was on Tonya's blog and I have recently seen her mentioned on a few other blogs. She is such an amazingly powerful writer. I cried my way through it, so grateful that although my kids may never be the popular kids, they are definitely not getting picked on with any regularity. You can see why some children take that ultimate route. I read another book of hers this weekend, The Pact. I would have bought more, but they are all coming out in trade paperback and I hate trade paperback. $22 for a softcover book, no thanks. I bought a
Marian Keyes one that I am pretty sure I have read before. Ah well. She makes me laugh, which makes up for all the crying I did reading the other books.

I read a book or two
and I did some other stuff too, during my self imposed blogging sabbatical.
Oddly enough, my house is no cleaner. I really thought it would be, I actually thought it would be spotless. Yeah, not so much. But I did mop the floors yesterday. And again today. God damn spring and all the flooded sidewalks. Liam has soaked 2 pairs of brand new runners. Granted they were on sale at Payless, but still! 2 pairs! Speaking of Payless, I bought Saoirse 4 pairs of shoes, including next years winter boots, for $22. I also got Sophie a pair of Airwalk fake crocs and sandals for $5 each. I love $5 sales.
So I couldn't keep myself totally away. As I was reading my book (Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Picoult...totally fantastic...made me cry) one night 4 or 5 days in I wondered if Michelle had had her baby and I had to check. She hadn't and still hasn't. Sigh. Poor Michelle. Those last few weeks are dreadful. And then one night I wondered if Boliath knew the sex of her baby. And she does. But she hasn't told the Big Man yet. So I am forced to wait and wonder. I checked out some other sites that night, intending to go through my blogroll, but my computer froze on me. And I couldn't be arsed to turn it on again.
And you know, it was sort of nice not being beholden to my computer. Because I'm a little obsessive. Checking my email to see if anyone has commented, checking blogs to see if anyone has updated. But I have to admit that I totally missed you people. And I found it sort of strange, that there are these people out there that I will never know but I know bits and pieces of their lives and I wonder how they are. I read a post once where the blogger said when she turns off her computer she doesn't think of her readers again. Not me! I find myself wondering quite often about one blogger or another. Not that I plan on stalking youse or anything.
I'm babbling, as I tend to do. I did want to thank those of you who left comments wondering if all was okay, and Angie who even asked in a blog post. I emailed her saying all was fine, but I was a bit blah. And blah is really the only way I could describe it. There's nothing wrong per se, all is fine with William, kids are all good, but I myself am completely and totally blah. I feel run down. I lost 4 lbs and then gained 6. In one month. What the fuck? My back has been going out constantly for the last 2 months. Now my hips are acting up. Again, what the fuck? Did I turn 73 overnight? The paranoid part of me thinks I have bone cancer, the realistic part knows I need to lose a lot of weight. Oh and once again I had sex on day 14. So this is another worry, for the next week or so. William says he thinks I purposely want to get pregnant. I said no, it's just that I take it when I can get it. And what's the deal with that? I dream about sex every single night. Too much information? Sorry.
Shall I tell you briefly what has been going on the last couple of weeks? No? Well, I'm going to anyway.
The Lenten promise. Remember that? Oh ye of little faith Beccy and Eric who had me pegged at 5 days, 6 hours and 47 minutes and a week to a week and a half respectively. I lasted like 30 days. And then I poured myself a glass of coke. Sigh. It tasted sort of gross actually. I have not had a Mr. Big though, but am going to suggest to William that he have one for me on Easter morning. I sort of screwed myself by saying chocolate instead of chocolate bars. The day after was Liam's birthday and mid bite in a Boston cream doughnut I realized I was not supposed to be enjoying that layer of chocolate. Crapoly. So I guess that Beccy and Eric actually guessed a little high. But still. I've done okay. Except for when Saoirse brings me a half eaten Cadbury's cream egg. It would be scandalous to throw it away. There's starving children in Africa after all.
What else? Sophie is so freaking adorable and she is growing up so quickly that it makes me sad. I really wish I could post a picture because she has the funniest expression- she tilts her head back, squeezes her eyes shut so that her nose goes all scrunchy and grins like a madman. And then she does it again and again because we all laugh so much. She is crawling properly now, no more army crawl. Today she saw Liam had ice cream and did the dash from one end of the livingroom to the other to get a few spoonfuls. She also walks around furniture. The other day she attempted the stairs. It was not successful. Short legs, like her mummy.
Saoirse is loving everyone now. I have suddenly become mama. It's quite sweet really. She says to Sophie "Boo boo...boo boo (that's what Taylor calls her, now we've all started)...I like you boo boo." Today she said to Liam "Don't be rude!" She's very bossy with him as I've said before. Now that is warming up she constantly wants to be outside. It's a shame the back yard is still full of snow. We get only morning sun back there, so it could be ages before it melts.
Taylor and Liam are on Spring Break this week, and thus far have not once looked at their chore jar. The chore jar rocks in theory. I found they were complaining so much about the ONE chore (dishes) they were required to do daily that I created a daily jar and a weekend jar in which they have to pick 2 chores per day and 4 on weekends. Sadly, neither of them have ended up with washing dishes, so it has fallen to me. They are thrilled of course. It is much easier to help Saoirse put away toys or clear the table than wash the dishes.
Both of them received their report cards on the 16th. Taylor's was okay, but she did not hand in one French assignment, and her teacher lost the other, so he could not assess her in 2 of the 3 areas. I was none to pleased with either of them. When I went to the parent teacher interviews, in which her teacher (not the French teacher) did not say anything to me until we were leaving!, I wrote on the form we were given that I do not feel Taylor is willing to accept responsibility for her lack of effort and that her marks do not reflect her true ability. As we were leaving her asked if I had any questions and I said no, I wasn't surprised at all. We discussed the IB program she will do in junior high and he said he didn't think she would have a problem maintining the 70% average, he would be more concerned with the state of her locker. And yea, I think I'm disorganized? She's a freaking mess. Did I tell you I spent ages cleaning her room the day before her birthday so she could have a sleepover and the next day it was a mess again and 3 weeks later still had not been properly cleaned? It was finally done last night because she wanted her friend Marissa to sleep over. The only reason it was finished is because Marissa helped her.
And Liam. Oh, the changes! His report card was fantastic. He has jumped two levels in reading and did not receive a single "not yet meeting requirements" (which would be a D for your alphabetical folks) but even better was the comments his teacher said about him in my interview. The week before she had emailed me saying he was having his best week ever, and when she asked him what the change was he told her it was spring and he was getting outside and burning off energy. We talked about how well he does in Math, and how he always helps the other kids. She said that he has become a leader in the class. I was thrilled. At home, he is definitely not a leader, he hangs out with 2 bigger boys, both a bit on the rough side, one of whom he was banned from playing with last summer. On the last day of school, she told him how mature he has become. He was quite pleased himself. Now if only the school maturity could rub off at home, particularly in the bedroom cleanliness area.
Cripes, this is way long. Oops. Did you make it to the end?
But I forgot to tell you about my haircut. Another time. Isn't it sad when a haircut can become a post? What does that say about my life?

She's growing up
Tonight Taylor and I went to a focus program (International Baccalaureate, sports academies) night at the junior high she wants to go to. 2 weeks ago we went to another local junior high and she was not at all impressed by it. I'm not sure why, I think she is just so focused on the other school she didn't consider any other options. I was sort of glad, because to me this school was just too big. I like small.
She will be attending my former junior high. It is amazing what 21 years can do to a school. When I finished Grade 9 the school was heading into "bad reputation" territory. It was really bad about 10 years ago, and even in the news due to a knife related crime. 5 years ago they brought in the IB program and then the sports academies and the school seems to have turned around.
There was IB at my high school, which of course I never did. Bad grades, you know? The middle years programme is a bit different in that you don't need to have a certain average to get in. They have to maintain a 70% in all their core subjects, which shouldn't be an issue for Taylor as long as she doesn't get too lazy. What I like about IB is that they are required to do 20 hours of community service per school year, as well as complete a personal project. She has to take French and music, both subjects that she would choose to do in a regular program. That leaves her with 3 other options to do, one per term. I have said she should take 30 minute meals so that she can make us dinner but for some reason she isn't so keen on that. Drama, Art and Appetizers and Snacks are I think what she wants to take. We will see.
Because her current school is a feeder school for this junior high, they will be going and spending the morning on Thursday. They will meet the teachers, visit classes and have lunch. She is desperately hoping that her friend Ashley will change her mind and decide not to go to a different junior high. She is very nervous about not having friends in her class. I have to keep reminding her that she has to be that girl that turns around and says hello to the kid behind her. (Number 12 on my youyou.) Haven't seen her in years, but I will forever remember her turning around and saying hello and how fucking very grateful I was. I told Taylor the story of that girl and how we remained friends through junior high, that even though we went to different high schools we stayed friends, were friends when she stalked some guy from the university radio station and friends when she ended up in a psychiatric hospital after said radio guy rejected her and she sliced her arms up, friends while she lost 100 pounds and I gained it (a slight over exaggeration) and friends through pregnancies, crappy boyfriends and unhappy marriages. I said it's amazing what can happen when you turn around and say hello.
She said "I'm shy." So not true.
She will be fine. She will.
Me? I'm not so sure. I don't think I'm going to enjoy being the mother of a junior high student.
And just a thought for you all...by the time Sophie finishes Grade 12 I will have been the mother of school aged children for 27 years. If I'm not dead by then.

Taylor at 12
Yesterday was Taylor's 12th birthday. I just went back and read over what I wrote about her last year, and I have to say that things between us are still difficult. I've made a move on the counselling though, I think she is (and has been for years) suffering from depression. I have to see the counsellor first and then she goes. I am being held up though by the fact that her father needs to provide me with a notarized letter saying that he agrees to me seeking counselling. He has no issue with it, he just hasn't done it yet.
I wish Taylor and I had a better relationship, I really do. I don't think you go into motherhood thinking that you and your child will not get along, the reality was a big shock to me. I wonder when our problems was started, when this little girl and I became so angry with each other. She was always temperamental, always argumentative. I remember has a pleasant baby, very independent, she was rolling around the house at 4 months old, so busy she didn't sit on her own until she was 9 1/2 months old. When was that first temper tantrum? Around 9 months old or so, when she got angry about something and lay on her back and threw herself to the other end of the room, ending up with a big scab on the back of her head from all the friction. The temper tantrums became more frequent when she was about 15 months old, there are pages in her photo album of her asleep on the floor after crying herself out. And they still go on today, for silly reasons and for serious ones. Sometimes she doesn't have a tantrum, just goes off and cries for what appears to us to be no reason, but must be something to her. An example from today: she didn't want her friends to have cake, but they all wanted cake and I said they could so she went off and slammed the basement door. She sulked for awhile and then all was fine.
Ack, once again what should have been a birthday post has turned into a whinge from me. And I wonder why we have problems.
I should have just told you about her birth, when the doctor was trying to turn her head and it felt like the most violent oral sex ever.
Or maybe that's just way too much information.
The school dance. It was a 50s theme. Her friend Ashley is on her left and Marissa is one her right. She's holding Saoirse of course.
This was in September. She rarely lets me do her hair (always a huge fight) but she had let me put a bun in on this morning. When she came home it was all undone though! And I just have to tell you how glad I was the day we threw that sofa out. I love my new one, even though it still doesn't have legs, 2 months later.

Introducing you to the genius that is me and other stuff
Since I have nothing better to do on a Friday night I did this geography quiz on the American states. Considering the fact that the last time I studied American geography was in the fifth grade I was quite impressed with my score of 146 out of 150. It just goes to show you how much we Canadians are influenced by the Americans. Since I have nothing to do on Saturday night either (my daughter has a much more exciting social life than I do) I will be tackling Europe. No point in doing Canada. 10 provinces and 3 territories does not an exciting quiz make. But you Americans go for it.
I have booked my girls weekend away for April. I am going here again. I'm a little hesitant about leaving Sophie for 3 days, especially as I am unable to pump. I worry that there will be nothing left by Sunday night. She'll be 8 months old so I guess it wouldn't kill either of us if her breastfeeding days were over, but I was hoping to reach a year. Other than that I am excited to get away, to make some cards and finally start scrapbooking for Sophie's book. I'm leaving on the Thursday, only 3 of us are going up that day, everyone else arrives on Friday. William said he will make sure to be home on the Friday, so that just means getting a sitter for a few hours on Thursday afternoon. Lately, I have done a lot of complaining about William, but I have to say that he is fantastic about me going away for the weekend (I only go once a year, but he would have no problem with me going twice) and all the stamping things I go to. I do have a few friends who have said their husbands would never stay with the kids alone for the weekend. He's definitely good that way.
Finally, it appears that spring is here. I am so sick and tired of snow and cold. What I forget about though is how much I hate melting snow and all the dog shit on the sidewalks. Seriously, is it so hard to carry a bag and pick up after your animal? The two little ones and I went up the road and I must have seen a dozen piles. Uck.
Saoirse spent the entire night in her bed last night. I brought her in to her room at 11 and she slept right through until 8. It would have been a fantastic night but Sophie woke up at 2 and ate on and off until I brought her down to William at 6.45 and said I just need to sleep for half an hour. I didn't sleep but I enjoyed lying in bed on my own. She was miserable all day today and by 1 pm I was so moody I just let her cry it out in her crib. She fell asleep and I cleaned Taylor's bedroom, which was a disgrace. William told her if she can't manage to keep it clean all her books are coming out. Hopefully that will work, because taking everything else certainly didn't matter to her. There are 5 baskets of her stuff sitting in the garage.
And speaking of Taylor, Angie, I will totally share the story of trying to drag my daughter into the shower. She may one day kill me for it, but in reality will probably show it to her future therapist and say "See, here is why I am so fucked up." It is a tale of my extreme ineptness as a parent.
And with that I am off to put daughter #2 into her own bed.
Forgot to tell you
Got my period on Wednesday. And I was okay with it. A little sad, but relieved in a "Let's be completely realistic" sort of way.
I was just really pissed off that Friday Night Lights wasn't on. What the feck? I was looking forward to watching Kyle Chandler and paying no attention to the plot.

Random
So a lot has been going on that I have not posted about, but wanted to mention. Here's some random stuff from the last week or so.
*Sophie said dada tonight. She then said daddy. No mama or mummy in sight though. Yesterday she also put herself into a sitting position and I missed it, she was at my neighbour's. Though she has been sitting for about 6 weeks, it was only if you sat her down. Today she did it all day long. She will be 7 months old on Saturday. Sigh. They grow up so quickly.
*Last week Edmonton recorded it's eighth homicide of the year. It turns out that as a child I knew him. He was the son of a family friend. I don't have any clear images of him, I remember his mum and dad, his uncle Tommy and his cousin Joanne, who was much closer to my age. Because Edmonton has had so many murders over the last few years, it seems we have become sort of immune. It used to be that there would be lots of write ups on the victim, but there was hardly any mention of this man, just that he lived with his girlfriend. No mention of his 3 daughters. That's sad I think. It's sad that you invite someone into your home to stay with you and they end up shooting you in the heart. My dad was at his funeral and he said it was packed. Lots of people from the old days, it's nice to know that all those Irish and Scottish folk can still manage to get along.
*Taylor is 12 this Saturday. She is officially taller than me, and let me tell you it is pretty hard to get mad at a kid you have to look up at. (Never mind having to try and drag her into the shower, which we won't even get into.) I wonder what she'll end up at. I was once told she could be as tall as 5'11. I'm figuring 5'9", an inch taller than William.
*I never mentioned that the mall had not removed their Christmas decorations, but it was absolutely driving me mad everytime I went there. How lazy are they I wondered. It turns out a movie is being filmed there starting in April. It is about a family from Los Angeles who move to Edmonton. Ray Liotta is in it, along with Leslie Nielsen (who went to high school here) and Chris Kattan. So obviously I will be stalking the mall this spring, 'cause Ray Liotta is some hot. If you happen to see a movie called 'Christmas in Wonderland' sometime after November, remember that it was filmed literally 5 minutes away from my house. Exciting stuff.
*Saoirse is sleeping in her own bed! Sort of. She falls asleep in our bed, when I go up I carry her into her room and at some point during the night she wakes up and comes back in. I'm okay with that, at least I'm getting a couple of hours kick free.
Boys and braces
Yesterday Liam and I had our final consultation appointment for his braces. $6500. Yeah. Not covered. Yeah. I'm speechless too. So including what I've already paid the grand total will come to $6935.
I was told to think about it and decide if I wanted to go ahead.
I love my son. He's a good looking kid with a 100% overbite and 2 fang like teeth. Which makes him not so cute. One day I would like him to have a girlfriend. Maybe get married. Provide me with grandchildren. I'd like him to be able to smile in pictures. To not be called vampire.
Of course I'm going ahead. I have no other choice. Shitty teeth run on his father's side of the family. While his dad's are okay, his aunt and uncle have the teeth from hell. Both of them probably would have required jaw surgery to get their teeth fixed, which is maybe why their parents did not even bother with braces.
Or it could be because they are cheap fuckers, but that's a whole other post.
So on April 2 Liam will be fitted for the top row of braces and eventually the bottom will go on. Due to his upper jaw growing faster he will also have to wear headgear at home. He will probably have to have one of his four remaining baby teeth pulled.
He also needs to see his regular dentist twice a year for cleanings. This was a grrrrr moment for me, because of course he is only covered for one cleaning per year. So there's another $250 per year.
When we got home he got the lecture of his lifetime about brushing his teeth, something he and Taylor both seem to feel is not one of life's necessities. Brushing teeth with braces is on after every meal is apparently essential. Liam knew he was going to the orthodontist yesterday and still did not bother to brush his teeth that morning. I could have killed him when I picked him up at school and saw his unbrushed hair and unbrushed teeth and the traces of whatever snack he had at recess around his mouth. Ah, the joys of boys.
Back to the cost, because I am absolutely in awe over the amount. I have to pay an inital fee of $900, which I am allowed to spread over 3 months. After that, I pay $175 a month. I guess this means I will have to back to work when my mat leave is up, even if William has received his residency. Which is something I was totally hoping to avoid. I talked to his dad, and he thinks he is able to pay half of the $175, but isn't really sure since his sister now takes $750 of the $1000 he receives in disability payments every month. And did that not start a whole other spiel for me. I told him he had to move out of there, she is supposed to be helping to take care of him, not completely fucking him over taking advantage of his situation. Apparently he is on the waiting list for assisted living. So at least he will be out of a bad situation, but I'm pretty sure they will take most of his income. Although I would gladly pay the entire orthodontist bill myself to have him out of his sister's house.
Anyway, I totally digressed and this post should have been done ages ago.

A false alarm?
So the test was negative.
I'm sort of sad. No, I'm really sad. Crazy? More than likely. Not too long ago I said in this blog that I was never having another child. I think I actually said NEVER.
There is no sense of relief at all. It's funny how quickly you come to accept the idea of a baby and start making plans.
We'll finish the basement and put Liam down there. If the baby's a boy it will have Liam's shoebox bedroom for sure. If it's a girl, we could possibly put Saoirse in the small room. We will really need to replace the carpet in the livingroom. Forget about getting a kitchen table for 6, we need more seats. We'll really need a minivan now. I had better start scrapbooking for Sophie so I am not 2 kids behind. And on and on the thoughts go.
I guess this made me realize that I am not ready to say my family is complete. If it still hasn't shown up by Sunday I will retest and I'll see where we go from there. I have no intentions of actively trying at the moment. I want William to be legally here and working, I want to upgrade my high school marks so I can eventually go back to school. A year maybe.
You know, if my mother doesn't kill me first.
And can I just say to those of you go through this every month...my heart breaks for you. If I was crying over a baby I didn't even know I wanted, what must those of you who do this every single month feel? I don't know how anyone would survive month after month with their sanity intact.

I think I may have to start posting to the other blog again.
Holy Mary Mother of God.
*Edit: I hope the link clarifies things. And no, not official yet. Tomorrow. Maybe.

Just killing time
I have 10 minutes until tickets for the Police go on sale. Guess how much the most expensive tickets are? 425 dollars. That is freaking crazy. I mean, they are old bloody men and they didn't even sound that good at the Grammys.
So I'm getting the second cheapest seats. $95. Cause I'm cheap like that. And I'm not going anyway. But William wouldn't mind seeing them.
There's 4 minutes successfully wasted.

The final 10
Are you as sick of this thing as I am?
41. I missed 41. Unable to count. But here it is. I don't know why you have a child when you have no interest in raising him. You come off as spoiled bitch. Bad mood, anyone? So yeah, obviously not going to tell you who this is. Needless to say, this person is not on my blogroll and had never ever commented here. So obviously it's none of you.
42. Beccy. I wouldn't mind being Beccy's neighbour because not only would I love to live in Dublin and see the likes of Bono (who I once chose as my freebie celebrity to sleep with so I could tell him he was shite and to get off his high horse) but I think I would quite like her. Plus she bakes so I could harrass her for cups of tea and baked goods.
43. I don't remember. Obviously someone who likes hockey, otherwise why would I have mentioned I'd like to go to a game with them?
44. Boliath. Update done, pregnancy going well. Now I just need to know if it's a boy or girl.
45. PS at Balrog. . Last I read PS (who changed his name to November Rain, which was sort of odd) was no longer even blogging at this site. It's a fantastic Irish site, but sometimes I think men should just shutup in regards to abortion.
46. Again, so many people never leave comments anymore. Sigh. I feel sorry for myself sometimes, that I am so very pathetic that this bothers me.
48. Ah, the comment left on another blog. I don't know her url but I can tell you why it bothered me...remember that post at the end of January, after the big fight with William? Writing a post 10 minutes after a fight is so not a good idea. It was irrational, but anyway, besides the point. Lisa did this Fun Monday thing that many bloggers I read participate in and that week you were to write about a post that sticks in your mind. She chose my post about the fight, I think it may have been the first she had ever read of mine, a rather frightening introduction to my lack of sanity. Anyway, Lisa wrote a nice post, it actually made me laugh but one of the comments bothered me. Had she left the exact same comment on my own blog it would have been fine, but this is a blogger whose site I had commented on and who, as far as I can tell, had never visited my site back. (Yea, I'm petty like that...you already know that.) So it bothered me that she read that post, did not comment, but commented about it back at Lisa's. Like I said, I am petty.
49. Andrew at I Really Am a Lucky Guy. And I still think his wife is lucky.
50. United Irelander. It's as though he can say whatever he wants, but the moment you call him out or say something he disagrees with, he attacks. Another instance where I think men should keep their opinions on abortion to themselves. Still, it's a great blog and I do enjoy it.
Tbank God that's over. I might even write a proper post one day.
