Christmas Cards

I started my Christmas cards tonight. I figure if I can get 3 hours in a night at work I may actually be able to get them done in time by the end of November. Well, I only work 2 more shifts in November so maybe not. No, I can do it. Maybe I'll have to stop reading blogs.

Anyway, I would like to send you a card. You may not want me to send you a card. Let me know. Some addresses I have, some I don't.

There's a good chance I may just end up buying a package from WalMart Hallmark. I really love their commercials. Or I may come across the supply from years past.

Or I may actually make them. Who knows? Isn't Christmas all about surprises?

So yeah, let me know. My email's in the sidebar, slowly making it's way downwards because of all the crap great stuff I have installed. Or you can leave me a comment. Yes, no, you're a loser, whatever. No don't call me a loser. I might cry.

* I do know that Christmas is really not all about surprises. I don't want to offend anyone.

I have just reread this post and I think I come across as slightly deranged. I am not. I am tired maybe. Though I don't know why. It was dead tonight. And I watched a man code in the ER. And they really did jump onto the stretcher and start banging his chest. And all the while I thought was just done on TV. He died. It was sad. One minute you're having coffee at Tim Horton's with a friend, the next you are dead in a hospital emergency room.

Do you know what I did all night? Stamped, read blogs, played Solitaire and read my new book (The Other Boleyn Girl). So good. I think I actually worked for 2 hours in my 8 hour shift. Definitely not more than 3.

It was a weird night.

It must be awful to witness people passing away.

On a lighter note. The Other Boleyn Girl is an awesome book. I read it a few summers ago and loved it. I'd definitely read it again some time.

I think you already know I want a card. I've already addressed my card to you!!! :)

I'd love one of your cards. But you probably know that. I love your cards.
I've had nights/days like that when I was working where I felt like I only worked maybe 2 hours of an 8 hour shift, it's kind of frustrating though cause it makes the night take longer.

A: My cards come from the blasted DOLLAR STORE!

B: I really need to get my address list together. Surely I have your address somewhere from when I sent that book.

C: After the dollar store cards are signed (and some even with notes inside of my looove) I throw in pics of my kidfolks to those who might give a shit and call it a day.

D: Hooray for working 2 hours. Go. you. ;)

I had every intention of making most of my own cards this year, set myself the task of finishing before I go away on Tues and I haven't even started yet!

ooh. I love cards. And, yours are homemade? Wow. I'm in awe. Not to mention a job where you get that much done without working? I want one like that.

Oh, I want a card...you should have my address from the book exchange...or maybe not.

The other Boleyn Girl is a great book - I really liked it.

That is sad about the guy...

oh, and your hand made cards, make my hand made cards look like a dog puked on them.

so don't complain when you get a white piece of paper with a bunch of crap glued to it and my name signed on it. k?

Am I a loser that I want a card and I'm essentially begging for one?

You know I want one. And I think you have my address. In fact, why don't you send me two cards?

The guy dying sucks. Hubby will mention it too, from time to time. It just surprises me that he doesn't see it more often.

Sorry about Saturday. I was sleeping. Didn't mean to stand you up!!!!

I'm just here to remind you that you better send me a card, lol.

Oh, and The Other Boleyn Girl is one of my favorite books. I LOVE Philippa Gregory.

your cards are cute. i just bought some cheap blank cards and a few holiday stamps to stamp the inside with. i may do that every year. who cares if the inside is the same? much cheaper than buying the boxes of cards anyway. mine will be rather plain this year. but i think it will be fun!

I don't know if you still have my address. But I definitely need yours because I've been trying to put my list together.
