Not only do I rock, I rock the bowl

My very favourite Blue Momma awarded me (and the fantastic, mucho awarded AFF) with this beautiful, made-all-by-herself award. I think I may have been given it because I bitched everytime she awarded someone else. Sometimes, it pays to be a whinger. Because then, you get an award that no one else has yet been given. And even better, you get to pass that award on.

So here are my two nominees:

Emily at What's a Quirk? Oh, I love Emily. She has the life I never had. You know the one. Child free. Lots of friends (who all just happen to be gorgeous...what's the deal with that?) An active social life. Not that I'd give up my kids, but you know. Sometimes I wish I had waited. Had fun first. Instead I live vicariously through this blog. Oh and Emily? She's hilarious. My one problem with her is that she just doesn't blog enough. Yesterday was supposed to be Tuesday Ten and where was it? I don't know. But every Tuesday I look for that post. Yes, go read Emily. Go now, and then come back and then go read my next nominee...

...Debbie at A Step at a Time. Debbie lives not so far from me and were supposed to go to coffee together with Joy and Dawn but unfortunately she was unable to make it. But one day. I think Debbie and I have quite a bit in common, and so I am very drawn to her blog. Debbie often talks about homeschooling, which is something I could never, ever do but I really admire those people who have all the qualities required...smarts, organization and patience. My kids? They'd be as dumb as door knobs if I were in charge of their education. And myself? Well, I'd be up on the psych ward. Crying myself to sleep every night. But Debbie...she's doing it, and doing it well from what I can tell. And her kids they are cute. And her husband is English. AFF, you would love her wedding picture! (And you have no idea how long it took me to find that link, but let me just say you better go look!)

I'm off in the morning for my weekend away. And you people must have very little faith in me becuase not a single person was interested in waiting 6 or more months for a few cards. Honestly. I have an empty photo box that I am determined to see nearly full so if I have your address you might find you get them anyway, whether they are wanted or not. So there.

And well done on the awards. And I have faith in you. I just rarely get round to corresponding outside the blog forum!

Waiting for cards? Did I miss something? Because next to comments and email? Regular mail is my favorite thing!

Well, after chips and salsa, Ranch Doritios, and of course kisses from my Punkin! Punkin kisses are at the very top of the list, even before comments.

If you can believe that...

Awwww, thanks so much! That was very sweet. I figure we'll have a family before too long....may as well have fun while we can!

And you're right, I need to blog more, and even though I may portray an exciting life, I can never think of anything to write about! But I did blog today and I will tomorrow to bestow this awesome award to someone else.

And have a great trip. You know I'm jealous. And your whining had nothing to do with you getting the award!

Though I may make a special whiner award in the future.....

Vacay? Sign me up. I need one to recover from the one I just took!

And, kudos, salutations, etc., on being the other half of the inagural bowl award.

Have I also mentioned how much Puppy watches Corner Gas?? Like all the damn time.

I thought you'd be bowled over with people wanting cards and as I've been lucky enough to recieve them before I thought let someone else but if there are any going spare...

I love Debbie and so admire her homeschooling. I'd wasn't reading her in May so the wedding photo was a great treat.

Great awards candidates. I just visited Emily for the first time, now I know why she is on so many blog rolls. Of course Debbie is great, and I hadn't seen the wedding photos either since I started blogging in June. Congratulations to Emily and Debbie. Have a good weekend.

If no one wants your cards, I would love more!!!! I've given out all the ones you sent me last time and people were in love with them. Every thank you note I got mentioned the beautiful card. I totally meant to tell you that before, but of course, I suck and forgot.
