Fun Monday- Not only clothing art, but nipple art too

Willowtree is the host of this week's Fun Monday and I think it is one of the best. So even though I knew I would have a hard time getting this one done, due to being gone all weekend (yes! it takes me days to get a post ready!) I was determined to do it. Before I left I went around taking pictures of all of the kids favourite shirts, and I had planned to show my family's allegiances to various sporting teams via team jerseys. Alas, it was not to be. It took me 6 hours to upload the 5 pictures you are about to see. Yes, that is the the honest to God truth. My house is a pig pen, all for the sake of Fun Monday. Cause you know what? Willowtree said "Don't sign up if you aren't going to do it." And since I've signed up for about 4 that I just have not done I figured I better get my ass in gear and do this. Sod the house.

Anyway, Willowtree wants to see some clothing art. That's tee shirts, baseball caps, hoodies, sports uniforms or any bit of clothing that you or your kids own that has interesting, funny or artistic graphics.

First off, I would like to conduct an informal poll and find out who writes tee instead of t when writing t-shirt. Am I just lazy? Is it just us in North America? Or maybe just Canada?

Right. Enough babbling. On to the clothing:

These tshirts were on display at the Cottonwood Farmer's Market when we were in Nelson this summer. The woman who designed and painted them was so funky. She was covered in tattoos, with one on her chin and piercings everywhere. She was a teacher which just goes to prove how liberal BC's school systems is as compared to Alberta.

My brother bought Taylor this t-shirt, and himself one in a burnt orange.

This one was bought for Liam, who sometimes forgets that the outdoors are a great place.

The tshirt Saoirse was wearing today. If only it were true!

And a boob. And no, it is not mine. I am sooo very reserved. Honestly. This boob belongs to my friend Shelley with the artwork provided by her friend Donna. Nope, neither of them were drunk. This was actually taken at 11 am on Friday morning, well before the other 23 women in our party showed up. I have to say say that Shelley is the most open person ever. I roomed with her and she had no qualms about coming out of the bathroom naked. Sometimes, I wish I had that sort of confidence.

For those of you who normally read me, I had a great weekend and got lots done. All my pay it forwards, my autumn swap, a gift (hopefully one she will like!) for a blogger, Saoirse's birthday invitations and Halloween treat bags for school and lots of cards. I was freaking productive. And if my computer doesn't shut down a thousand times I'll post those pictures tomorrow.

For some reason, the only pic I can view is the First Class one! Which I like by the way...and wouldn't it be nice if we could all fly that way?? Nice Fun Monday...I was BAD and forgot about it. I guess I'll have to wait til next week...

I have to laugh at the smiling boob. I like the Stop Wars shirts best and wish I had one. Today, I tried to buy a clever Halloween shirt at Old Navy ( not for Fun Monday) but for Halloween. I did not find a shirt and ended up walking into a plate glass window.

My favourite has to be the 'go outside' one, all children should have one of those!

Just for the record I'd never say tees, I don't say kids either (always children) although in blogging I now do write photos because the word photographs was just too damn long!

oh wouldn't it be nice to only fly first class!
the nipple art is funny and she sure must be a fun person too

Did you really just post a picture of a nipple? I think you did. You might just be a little crazier than I thought you were! Haha....love the t-shirts.

Great T-shirts (no, not tee) and I love the body art. Very funny.

that is commitment-- 6 hours???

great tee/ t-shirts. It depends on how quick I want to write the word, I guess.

I usually write tee, and I'm a lazy American! :)
I love the Stop Wars one, my fave.

I think Saoirse's t-shirt so seems to match her sassiness! I love it! And I'd like on of those too, because I wish I could fly only in first class...

And I hope we get pics of your accomplishments... I love your crafts and wish I could be 1/150th as talented as you.

Which reminds me that I still owe you scrapbooking pages that I promised you... Yeah, I suck.

I loved the 'Go Outside' and 'Stop Wars' t-shirts!

Glad you had a good weekend...and were so productive;).

I'm trying to comment, but I just keep seeing the nipple face. Which Punkin did point out was a boobie.

If that is how you dress up there I better stay down her in Hellabama! hehe

Your SHR is on it's way today! Better late than never, huh?

The "go outside" is one my kid needs...with a computer screen as the background! I love the "stop wars." And the nipple? I'll be surprised if Willowtree even makes it to any other post today! GREAT!

GO OUTSIDE on a TV set? That's gotta be one of the best shirts ever!

I am laughing at tiggerlane's comment. So true about WT.

I'm glad you had a good time!

That boob is staring at me. I'm kinda freaking out. And, your friends? Must be CrAzY!! Has this woman given birth? Cause my boobs? Are not ones you would want to draw faces on anymore!

Love Saoirse's shirt. She's a diva in the making. And, Liam's? I wish they had that in sizes for me, Puppy & SD.

Did you see the picture that's going around the internet of the mother and (adult) daughter who supposedly got kicked out of Disneyland for something like that last picture? LOL!

LOL Love the nipple art. And the little fellow isn't even looking down like mine tend to nowadays!

It sounds like you had a very very productive weekend. Love the t-shirts, wish I could 'only fly first class'!

A fun post. I am sure WT will be quite honoured that you didn't quite follow all the rules. I like the TV t-shirt.

Haha, I needed that "go outside" shirt when I was a kid, lol. I though it was *so* boring. I'm making up for it now though :).

If you see on your site reader an IP address from Australia that is still there two hours later, I'm guessing it is Willowtree enjoying the nipply smiley face. Loved all the t's especially the green go outside one.

I actually love the dress in that picture with the spider web/spider...kind of cool! The Stop Wars shirt is pretty cool too.

OH, and I actually flip-flopped on the T v. Tee thing when I was putting up my post...I use t normally, but got all confused after reading tee in WT's post...haha...

willowtree said...

Screw the tee shirts! Next time I host I'm going for nipple art!

Anyway, I like the 'Go outside' one the best, followed by Stop Wars.

Well done!

Joy T!!! I'll have you know that the only reason I stayed here for two hours is because I'm on dial up for the next few days, and it had nothing to do with that nice warm naked nipple!

WOW that booby was a shocking surprise! MY jaw dropped!
My fave shirt is the Go outside!

Well I was going to say what a cool t-shirt the 'go outside' one is but then I got stuck looking at the boob and forgot what I was going to say.

Saoirse's shirt would be a favorite of Kenzies she has a lot of those type! Love the Go Outside shirt also.
So did your friend know she was getting outed on your blog with her boob??

I write T also but lowercase cause I'm lazy. Tee is to long.

So glad you had a great weekend - looking forward to reading about it!!!

And the boob... oh my! Wasn't expecting that one!! But it did make me do a little Tee Hee in my head!

Alix said...

Great t-shirts, I want the I only fly first class one - do you think they'd upgrade me at the airport??
Nearly spat tea all over the computer when the boob pooped up - always good to start the day laughing!

T-shirt. Never tee.

I just don't know what to say about the nipple. Except that, I guess, it's just a nipple. Everybody has one.

Did you ever watch The Young Ones?

boobies! woo hoo!

Anonymous said...

Funny girl, you are. I have never...EVAH had the thought to paint my nipples...now that's what I call a graphic "t" :).

I'd like one of the "go outside" shirts in every color (except it'd be better served to have gaming systems on it, too).

Still Fun Mondaying...all week long :).

oh wow! LOL

I'm such a 14 year old boy that I opened up this post, laughed and shrieked, "Boobies!"

But really? It's just one boob. I should have just said, "Boob!"

Anonymous said...

Haha. The boob thing is really hilarious. I thought she's wearing some silicone nipple covers then. :P
