I think I felt a lump. Fuckity fuck de fuck.
Hopefully, it's just paranoia on my part.

The occasional rantings of a slightly deluded mum to a teenager, a preteen, a preschooler and a toddler with daily temper tantrums. My life is sometimes a mess, my house almost always is.

Oh Emma I do hope its paranoia. You don't need to have something else to worry about!
Emma, you poor thing. Glad you're going to the doctors to get it checked out.
Keep us posted.
Let's hope it turns out to nothing but it's best to get it checked.
It places fhoto of Madeleine in your bloggue

you poor thing. I am thinking about you.
I hope everything is ok...
Please please...let us know what happens.
Thinking of you and hoping everything is ok. I'm sure it will be, but you're smart to get it checked out.
Good for you, getting it checked out. I had the same scare a few years ago. Totally benign. You'd be surprised how many of them are so keep the faith. You are in my prayers!
Oh how scary for you! I sincerly hope it turns out to be nothing!! My mom found one once and it was nothing but a cyst, thank God! I'll be thinking about you until you give us the good news that you are, indeed, just paranoid!
Hey - check back in and let us know - paranoid for you! Are you still breastfeeding? Could it be a clogged duct?
Sending love, Bo xx
:( I hope everything is alright.. let us know right away Emma..
Emma, I'm glad you're going to the doctor, please let us know what's up.
I'll be thinking about you until I know.
So many possibilities of what it could be. Especially with stopping BF recently (you did end up stopping with your trip? no?) Good girl for NOTICING and GETTING to the dr. Those are the most important things you can do. xoxo keep us updated.
GLAD you aren't foolin' around...paranoia isn't always a bad thing!
Oh Emma please keep us posted, so glad you are going in right away.
Better safe than sorry is right! I am constantly reminded to check for lumps and never do. This is yet another reminder of how important it is. Here's hoping all turns out well.
Fingers are crossed for you! Good luck!
Glad you're racing to the doctor. No point in living in fear and getting it taken care of.
You are right...better to be safe. But my fingers are crossed for a clean bill of health.
I hope it's nothing but good for you for getting it looked at asap.
Bless your heart.
It could just be a swollen lymph node...I'd wait a few weeks (one full menstrual cycle) before letting anyone do anything invasive (e.g. a biopsy).
Hope all turns out well!!! xo
I also hope it is nothing!
(hugs)
Emma, I wanted to explain my comment. I found a lump under my left arm three years ago. I spoke to my homeopath about it - but also went to a GP to see what he thought. My homeopath suggested I wait one full menstrual cycle and see if there were any changes. I relayed this to the GP and he agreed. Thankfully he wasn't knife-happy and didn't bully me into an unnecessary biopsy.
I waited one full menstrual cycle (about 4 weeks) and it shrank. The GP and my Homeopath both thought it best to wait more. About two weeks later it was completely gone. The next month, I felt the slightest hint of a lump again and by the end of that cycle it was gone. Both think it was a swollen lymph node, which apparently is fairly common.
I haven't had anymore lumps since. (I've made changes to my diet to help)
Email me if you want or need to know more...or if you want an ear;). xoxo tigerlamb00@yahoo.co.uk
Hope that you found it to be nothing! I will be thinking of you!
My thoughts and prayers with you - let's go with paranoia. :-)
Hope everything turns out OK, Emma. Well done on going to the doctor.
I hope everything is okay, Emma.
