Fun Monday- Coffee Mugs

This is my third try publishing this, I have lost it each time. Damn my crappy computer. I've jumped on the Fun Monday bandwagon. Willowtree is the host of this week's, you can get the full list of participants off of his blog.

The challenge this week was to show your favourite- not your best- coffee mug (that would be tea mug in our house, I don't even know how to make coffee), glasses for alcoholic and non-acoholic drinks and, if you choose, plate.

This is my favourite mug, I find it a bit small though so I don't use it that often. It says "You can never be too lucky or too Irish." I am neither lucky enough nor Irish enough I think.

These are the mugs William and I use the most often, I say they match our personalities. Him being grumpy and me being gloomy. Note they are both chipped, I drink from the other side though, so it doesn't bother me. I'll keep it until the tea starts pouring out the crack.

Had I been very smart I would have turned this photo around. Too lazy, and too many attempts at publishing have me not caring very much that it's not the right way up. I heart travel mugs. This is my newest, I got it from Tim Horton's for being a block captain in the city wide clean up. Along with $5 in gift certificates. Which won't buy a sandwich, but who am I to turn down any form of money?

I don't have a favourite plate, in my house plates and glasses break at alarming rates. Nor do I have a favourite glass, since 95% of the glasses are actually plastic. This is Saoirse's favourite plate, bowl and glass though. I don't know why I didn't include the Princess mug and fork and spoon.

Hoho - Those Princess plates sure look familiar. I have a set of them myself.

Welcome to Fun Mondays Emma. We've grown out of those plastic plates but I still have the Barbie ones lurking at the bottom of my cupboard. Somehow I can't bring myself to get rid of them!

Hi Hope you're enjoying fun monday. Nice mugs, like the Irish one in particular. I still keep some plastic plates and mugs to use when the grandchildren come but they're really too old for them now.

When my son was small he had a set just like that, but it was the Rugrats. I still have a Tommy fork and spoon floating around my silverware drawer.

I like the Eeyore mug - he's my favorite Pooh character.

All of my kids would love the plate, bowl and cup set! Ok, so maybe I do too!

of course.. the princess plates for the little princesses.

I'm surprised that cracked mug is still holding together.

Just make sure you never have hot liquid over your lap without a saucer... I can hear you screaming from her {{{{{{}}}}}}}}

If you check my blog today - you won't see my F. Monday photos. The battery on our memory card floppy disk thing went dead as my husband was transferring photos to the computer.

I did manage to post some photos of a cute little orphaned fox cub our neighbour has been looking after, though. Come have a peek;).

I'm getting a new battery tomorrow and should get my FM up then.

Make sure you hang on to the plates for her - she might get a laugh out of them when she is older :)

Your mugs are interesting and artistic-looking. The Princess ware is fun. I did consider using a McDonald's plate for one of my favorites.

I empathise with your computer woes, I've been having more than my fair share lately! However, I'm glad you stuck with it as your post added to the richness of Fun Monday.

BTW don't worry about not getting the travel mug photo the right way, I just turned my monitor in its side, problem solved.

I was going to post my Tim Horton's tea cup and saucer but I didn't think the American's would "get it".

It's STEEPED.

Hey no problem on the travel mug pic. It was time for a bit of exercise anyway and turning my head that way was just what I needed. Love the princess set. I'm 43 and would love a set like that!

Oh, yeah, many days I feel like Eeyore...and Grumpy... Hmmm, Eepy or Grumore...works for me.

Glad you decided to join Fun Monday; that's why I'm here today (although I was here earlier for your XXX post I think) although today's post is NOT very fun :/.

Love those princess things...we USED to have them, but now my daughter's 14 and they're long gone. And silly Willowtree, I just turned my head cock-eyed ;).
