Emma is...

...thinking she has no energy to blog.

(That was totally a facebook reference, I love those status updates!)

So it's point form for you all.

- Book swap packages have started arriving, I'll update the sidebar this weekend.
- Taylor's meet the teacher is tomorrow night. Have to talk to the principal and see what they are doing with the extra funding the school receives for her due to her gifted coding. Certainly not being used for Taylor.
- Have promised Taylor $100 if she makes the honour roll this term, $200 if she gets over 90% in all her core subjects plus French. Will she do it? She has the potential, but not the attitiude. She's saving for a laptop though, so this might be incentive enough.
- Have successfully removed lice from my house. Shaved Liam's head (almost makes the lice worth it- he looks adorable!), used tea tree oil on Saoirse, Taylor and myself. Gone the next day! Still checking everyday and doing another treatment just to be safe.
- Stayed off the computer all day today. I thought it would be hard due to my total addcition but it wasn't too bad. Did start getting a bit antsy about 7.30 though.
- Sophie going through a growth spurt? Holy freaking miserable child! Adorable when she wants to give a kiss though. Smacks her lips and comes on in for one or two or ten.
- Saoirse was a bit grumpy this afternoon so I asked if she wanted to have a rest and she said "No, I just want to have a cuddle." All together now...aaaawwwww! So we cuddled for an hour and then she decided to use my legs as a diving board and the floor as her pool.
-William back to work today so my money stresses temporarily relieved. (Didn't actually post about it, but I was getting a tad stressed.)
- Still want him to get a job with benefits, holiday pay and sick days.
- Want to quit my job and stay home. I will even clean the house and learn to make some decent meals to stay home.
- Hate working.
- Hate it. Haaattteee.
-Fuck, forgot to make playschool calendar.
- What sort of stupid eejit am I for signing up to be room rep.
-Got to go make calendar.

We've gone down the bribery route too, Dillon has his first major exams this year so we've promised hime a laptop if he does well....we'll just have to wait and see just how much he wants the laptop!

Yay for getting ready for all the lice!

Wesley is still a little young for bribery...but I am sure it is coming:)

That morning cuddle is the best, isn't it? Just finished ours, now we've moved onto America's First Top Model. Some transition, huh?

I hate working, too! We are barely getting by and I'm pushing hubby to change jobs so that we won't be so uncomfortable financially. Of course I could go back to work, but I sooooo don't want to.

Let's hope both of our hubby's make a change and we can be happy SAHMs! Who can also buy groceries!

I just came back to work after the summer off, enough said.
I don't even have kids young enough to be home and I STILL don't want to work, how sad is that?

Awww how sweet is that, asking for a cuddle. LP, who's 20 months now will open his arms towards me for s cuddle (since he can't speak yet) and when I hug him, he will pat my back like i've been doing to him!

I'm glad you're giving Taylor incentives for doing well. Some parents are totally against that...like you're bribing them to do well...but I always felt that it's good to have a goal, and just having a good report card just isn't enough for a lot of kids. Plus, isn't reward the reason we do just about everything?? I mean, who would work if you weren't going to get paid, right?

Too funny on the Facebook reference LOL Good luck to Taylor on those grades, what a huge accomplishment if she does it!

I love your Facebook shout out! Good luck with the job situations. I hope for your sake William manages to find what you need him to...of course, I've been searching for Pup for three freakin years. Damn him for being so hard to please. I also hear today is the first time since BEFORE I WAS BORN that the Canadian & US dollars are equal. CRAZY! I've got great crock pot recipes if you need them in your SAH pursuits!

Man do I ever love Saoirse and Sophie stories. And we need pictures of Liam with his shaved head!

And I hope that's the last time lice get mentioned, because I end up scratching my scalp raw every time you post about it. I'm such a freaking hypochondriac...

What happened to you posting pictures??? I miss your pictures!!!

Also... have an idea for you for extra (and easy) money - you can be a secret shopper! I happen to know someone...

Yeah I wanna see Liam with a shaved head also! Glad you finally got rid of those things. The kids came home the other day with a peice of paper saying another kid in the school had it so I went on a crazed hair check. The last time when they got it at daycare was just a nightmare! I hope William is able to get something that will make it so you can stay home soon also!

Wow... any pictures of the shaved head boy?

Hopefully your hubby finds something with benefits etc so you can stay home, it sounds like you are too busy to have a job, and if you hate it, I hope it doesn't last long. Sounds like life with the kids has been rewarding. In the end that's what counts, but money sure helps. Hope things are on an upswing.

I like this stream-of-consciousness list...

Yes, you must stop working. Enough meaningful work at home!
