Really quick here because I am watching Desperate Housewives and immediately afterwards I am waking up William because well, he said I could so yeah you know. You know.
The weekend was great. Only 4 of us were there on Thursday- what a great way to start what is a hectic, busy weekend. It was nice and quiet, which I do well with. I'm not really a people person in case you hadn't guessed. I made a handful of cards, all one basic design with slightly different variations. I did some drinking and some talking and some drinking and some cardmaking. And then I did the same things on Friday and Saturday. I ended up with 3 scrapbook pages, 2 albums in a tin, one box album and about 30 cards. So yeah, I didn't make enough. But I'm still going to send to everyone who said they'd like some, I have a ton of other ones I've made. So send me your address if you haven't already and if you actually like them I can send out more. I found I really enjoyed making them, knowing they were going to be sent out around the world (well, okay, Canada and the US and Ireland and Australia if Sam wants them) And, Beccy, I have something extra for you. But bloggy people remember I told you I can't cut straight lines and add to that that I was somewhat tipsy.
And on to the twins...remember I wrote about my friend Janine who was expecting twins and her mum has cancer? The babies were born today at noon, they were about 6 weeks early and both are in the ICN. One is incubated, and that's about all I know. Janine's mum was in the delivery room and I am so glad she was able to be there for Janine.
Almost 11. Things to do, things to do. I swear I don't know what's going on with me.

Sounds like you had a fun weekend! I am jealous! I want a weekend away with friends!
Glad to hear your friends mom was able to be there when the twins were born. Now just to pray they do well quickly so grandma and mom can have plenty of cuddle time soon! Still praying Grandma does better.
What a great weekend you had, I bet it was lovely to get away.
A card would be lovely Emma, thank you :o) Email coming your way :o))
So glad your friends mum got to see her grand daughters be born, how wonderful. Let's hope she gets to see them grow up a little.
sounds like you got to relax some- which is great! glad you had fun!
I will email you my address.
keep us posted on the babies.
Sounds like a blissful weekend, I'm very excited about that something extra.
I hope the twins are doing well, wasn't it great that the grandmother was in the delivery room, I hope she gets to spend a lot of time with them.
It sounds like you had a great time, I'm glad.
Such a great thing about your friend's Mom being able to be there. I'm sure the twins will be fine. Modern medicine is a wonderful thing, and six weeks isn't too bad for twins.
Glad you're a fellow Desperate Housewives fan. But....they need to turn it up a notch lately, don't you think? I need scandal! I need something juicy!
I was watching Desperate Housewives last night too. Just the right one to go wake someone up after too ha ha, loads of nookie!
So happy to hear about Janine and her babies, will pop over to her blog to catch up.
Welcome back, I missed you!
I love weekends like that! Not that I get many of the them...or any. :( Nah, I vaguely remember what it was like to spend a weekend with friends. ;)
Good news about your friend.
Hmmmmmm. Am I blind? I can't seem to find your email address.
Debbie, it's emmamcdonnell@shaw.ca

btw, may I be bold enough to request for a card or 2 ;-)!!
Glad to hear about the twins as well.
And I know you say that you can't cut in a straight line, but the idea of you doing so and tipsy really made me giggle.
Because if that were me, the card would look like it was made by a three year-old!
But obviously, you are selling yourself short, since you are still sending yours out to people all over the globe! Maybe you could start selling them online!
I am soooo glad to hear that Janine's mom was able to be there for her grandchildren's birth. How wonderful! I hope all goes well for the babies and they get to go home soon and spend all the time in the world with their grandmother!
Sounds like you had a great weekend. Can't wait to see what tipsy Emma will be sending!
I'm so glad Janine's mum could be there. Hope the babies can go home soon.
Sounds like a great weekend. Glad you enjoyed it.
I haven't seen Desperate Housewives since Season 1 and I can't wait to catch up on it via Netflix.
I'm so glad the twins were born in time but why so early?
I'd love a card! I'll email you my address. Sounds like you had a great time!
Oh I'm just glad Janine's mom was present for the birth of her grandchildren- God is good.
Although I'd love a card I think you have more than enough to send out.
