I have 10 minutes until tickets for the Police go on sale. Guess how much the most expensive tickets are? 425 dollars. That is freaking crazy. I mean, they are old bloody men and they didn't even sound that good at the Grammys.
So I'm getting the second cheapest seats. $95. Cause I'm cheap like that. And I'm not going anyway. But William wouldn't mind seeing them.
There's 4 minutes successfully wasted.

That's very expensive Emma. I used to like The Police in my teenage years but I wouldn't be too fussed about paying big money to see them live.
Hope William gets his ticket.
Beccy, I liked them also when I was a teenager, but couldn't be bothered to pay $100 to see them. William would actually prefer to see Roger Waters, so I am looking into getting those for him.
I did manage to get the tickets, 6 on the floor. Waaayyy back on the floor.
i love The Police,too.
$95?? $425 ou're right to see old men sing???
if they are old, then what am i????
$425?? Huh?!? Does that come with extras or something, like limo service and a mid-priced hooker??
It is odd that they weren't 'worth' $425 when they were hot and had hits. Now that they are old and have nothing, they can charge a fortune. All these reunion tours are funny in that way.
emma I can't believe the best tickets cost this much. Anyway enjoy.
They must have spent all their money and now need to make some more. $425 for a ticket is ridiculous!
$425 is ridiculous! I don't think I could pay that even for my favorite group.
$425???? did they blow all their money on crack whores???
I mean it's not like your buying tickets to see Jesus or something!
ugg the price of those tickets are outrageous!!
Frannie: LOL
Aren't concert prices generally just insane? Jason and I saw Peter, Paul, and Mary in concert several years back. I believe we were the only people under 60 in the crowd. We had third row seats and I think they were less than $30 a piece.
But it was Peter, Paul, and Mary after all.
I would pay $95 to see them...but I'd have to go alone. $200 for a night out without ANY food.
My husband would never hear of it.
:)
Holy crap, that's a lot to spend on a concert! But, for me at least, I would spend that much on Rascal Flatts!
I remember seeing the Police way back in 1980/81 - I know it was a December and had to drive down to Leeds and the snow was really bad - but got there and enjoyed the evening.
The hall wasn't packed out.
Hope you enjoy the concert!!!
I still luv "Every little thing she does is magic"
