Okay everyone in blogland, I need your help. I have lost my camera. With almost 1000 pictures on it. Everything from May of 2006 onwards which includes Spohie's birth, Saoirse's second birthday and Christmas. And everyday pictures of my lovely children. Okay, okay, it's mostly Saoirse and Sophie. I really do have 4 children it's just hard to tell via the camera. Once they reach a certain age they don't seem so keen on picture taking.
Where do you think I might have put it? I'm asking you lot because I am stumped. Normally it goes on the computer desk, occassionally on the bookcase. I last used it in the house so I know it has to be somewhere around here. Obviously you don't know the layout of my house or what I have in it (clutter) but perhaps you can think of a place I haven't looked, somewhere blatantly obvious. Where do you keep your camera?
And yeah, I looked in the fridge.

I would hate to loose our camera!
I agree with what you say about photographing the older children, Dillon runs away if he sees you with a camera pointed his way. My Mum had to beg him for a photo at Christmas.
We lost our recharger last year somewhwhere between Bristol and Dublin. Couldn't use the camera for months then we discovered the psp recharger worked.
I'm sure your camera will turn up when you least expect it and hopefully soon.
I lose ours CONSTANTLY. Fave places I've found ours (the fridge is one!)
On the mantle behind frames
In the toybox
In random drawers in the kitchen
In random cupboards in the kitchen
In a box full of spices (obviously it comes into the kitchen a lot)
On Liam's changing table (which hasn't been used in, oh, 7 months now so why it would be there is beyond me)
In the clothes hamper
In random coat shoved in closet
Dresser drawers
Behind the tv (might've set on top at one point who knows)
Gah. Losing my camera would break my heart. They'd have to commit me (this is also why I obsessively dump my pics at least once a day. omfg. talk about catastrophe!)
Ugh, you must be driving yourself batty looking for it. I'm sure you've already looked in these places but what about: diaper bag, bedside table drawer,on top of a bookcase, toybox, in a laundry basket? Gook luck!
I've done the same thing with my mobile phone and I still haven't found it a week later!!
I'm thinking maybe you need to look under the bed (or failing that under *anything* large enough)... I often find things under places because they have dropped down... I'm also thinking the bathroom for some reason... don't ask me why lol
OMG... too funny - I lose my camera in my house ALL THE TIME! Early last week, after three days of searching, it was under the bed. (Didn't want water from the nightstand to spill on it, yet was too lazy to actually get up and move it elsewhere.)
Another common one is in the car, under my seat (y'know, so no one, including myself, sees it).
And lastly, the dining room buffet drawer.
Your purse? Your car? Would a child have taken it somewhere? If so, then I'm really sorry...
I wish I had advice...I "lose" our camera frequently.
Lately, it's been making the menfolk in my house nuts.
I have no advice except to say..once you find it..DUMP it.
Losing 9 months worth of pictures would devastate me.
This IS exactly why....I only bought a memory stick that will hold around 100 photos. Now I have 3 of those..but when one is full, I know it's time to download them....

I'd check the kids' rooms in case one of them decided to take in there to play with it or take their own pictures.
Or check Sopie's poop. She sounds like a good eater, so you never know!
Mine was lost under one of the couch cushions for a week and 1/2.
Oh hate that - lose mine constantly, find it in the nappy bag fom time to time - have you looked there?
