It appears as though I have been living under a rock.
Van Morrison is coming. To shitey old Edmonton.
And I did not know.
And now it is too late.
It is practically sold out, the only seats left are in the nosebleeds.
For $113.50.
Holy fuck.
Is it just me? Am I the last cheap ass left in the world?
I paid $100 for my Dixie Chicks ticket, but that was after all the service charges and whatnot. I meant to email them in regards to the $40 onesie but forgot. Not that bothered apparently. But come on, $40 for a baby's shirt? At Jann Arden they were only $25 (and said 'I've got a good mother'. V. cute.)
I can't believe Van Morrisonis coming here and that I am not going.
Fuck, fuck, fuckty-fuck.

aww man.. I would so love to see that concert!!
and YAY @ Sophie!! WTG girlie!!
OK, that is WAY too expensive for the nosebleed! What are these singers thinking nowadays! And $40 for a onesie, ouch. Concerts are way out of control...
oh I love Van Morrison! Just go you deserve it.
Hey I had to comment on the name for the blog now. I think it great wish I had thought of it, lol. Definetly fits my world although I think we lean to the not so much! ha
The kids went back to school this last tuesday (thank God). I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one with kids who don't think they need toilet paper......
Saw him in concert in my early 20's. Actually waited by a backstage door for the off-chance of meeting him. Boyfriend at the time thought it was a good idea. Turns out he was kinda-sorta right... Van and entourage appeared, and in my fluster I couldn't find our ticket stubs (for Van to autograph). Boyfriend & I got into an argument in front of Van about who had the f'in ticket stubs, and I ended up handing his bodyguard my cigarette pack to sign. He refused and the bodyguard actually gave me shit for - and I'll never forget this - "completely disgracing Van Morrison". So never got the autograph and found the ticket stubs in my purse on the subway ride home.
My memory from back then is pretty much mush, but I do believe it was a rockin' good show!
