It's twenty after four on Christmas Eve morning. I have just finished wrapping the last of the presents. My livingroom is overran by gifts, the Santa presents are in the garage and the basement. I still have a lot to do, including two major things I should have done last night- steamcleaning and washing the sofa cushions. I wonder if I can kick the family out of the house for a few hours tomorrow. You know, in the end it always comes together...the house will be clean, the children will be bathed, the gifts will all make it under the tree...but you stress yourself trying to get there. At least, I do. Off to see if I can get an hour or two of sleep before the baby wakes.

Hey Emma it's 8pm on Christmas eve and I've no santa pressies wrapped! Because we fly I can't wrap them till I get here. Now I have to wait for all the kids to go to bed before I can start. It gets harder each year as the children stay up later.

...yes, it is stressful getting there, isn't it? I was up until midnight Christmas Eve assembling Funny Girl's kitchen set!! I was a walking zombie Christmas Day :(
