Oh, the humiliation

Sometimes in life you get what you deserve. And I suppose I deserved to have a not quite 2 year old Saoirse come up and tell me that Liverpool was beating Aston Villa. Not that she said that of course. What I heard was "Liva, Liva" and I just assumed she was saying "Liam, Liam." I suppose I also deserved to have Liam laughing at me when I came downstairs to see a score of 3-0. I deserve this because all week long I have been overly confident that Aston Villa would win, or at least draw. The only team not to lose a game yet, why should they break a streak against William's team.

It's a good thing that I use Sophie as my own personal alarm clock and that she didn't bother to go off this morning until after 9. It meant I missed the entire first half where, as Wiliam was so kind to inform me, "Liverpool played as though Aston Villa wasn't even there." I did have a brief spark of hope when a goal was scored just after I started watching but the hope ended pretty quickly.

Because Villa...they sorta kinda sucked.

At least some bloggers were pleased today.

We played like we should be playing all the time in the first half. Though I did begin to panic a bit when Villa scored. But that just comes from leading Reading
4-1 and then hanging on to win 4-3, that plus we have been playing shite lately.

Oh and on the site, I know it looks like yours, but that just means we have the same taste, though obviously not in football teams!!!
