I don't think interesting is a word I would ever use to describe my life. Dull maybe. And sometimes single is quite good. Alot less hassles. We have no rats in Alberta, in fact I'm not even sure if it would be legal to own them as pets.

Why is it you totally ignore your English heritage?

Emma in Canada said...

I think it was a reaction to my mother's hatred of all things Irish. Due to the alcoholic father, you see.

I only recently realized that honesty on blogs was possibly a huge mistake. Anyway, your blog is of a political nature is it not?

It wasn't until I went to school that I discovered that not every Canadian wasn't from England, Ireland or Scotland. I lived a very sheltered life I suppose! But yes, I do still come across a fair number...keeping in mind that Canadians consider themselves to be another nationality for generations.

Emma,

to put me in your Links section

Click on 'Edit-Me' in your Links section. This opens your Template editor, including a panel of HTML text.

Put your cursor in the panel and go to the end of it, then go up a few lines till you see a few lines which include http://editme and http://news.google.com.

delete the entire line of code which includes the http://news.google.com. and the text Google News

Replace news.google.com with thelandofireland.blogspot.com then replace Google News with The Land of Ireland

Hit the 'Save Template Changes' Button at the bottom of the window, and click the Republish.. button in the window that then opens.

A link to The Land of Ireland should appear in the Links section of your blog when you next open it

TLOI, You're an angel. But half your name is at the top of my blog and only "Ireland" is under the links. Tried fixing it but no luck.
