A shameless plug, part 2

It's my birthday. I am oooolllllllld.

My brother arrived in town yesterday morning, is making me a birthday lunch today and then departing to Calgary either later tonight or early Sunday morning. He is off to England for a month.

Other than my family, will anyone remember my birthday? My friend Bev did but I don't expect anyone else will. If no one does, you will be regaled with the story of my 8th birthday, the saddest birthday ever.

Sad moment of Emma's 33rd (see old!) birthday #1: It is currently 12.30am. My phone just rang, something it does not usually do at this time of the day, unless William is in Australia. I see it's my dad calling with my first birthday greeting of the day. Um no. He is calling to see if my brother is still here. So much for being a daddy's girl. It does you no good 30 years later.

Anyway, happy birthday to me!
